It's been a good week for painted horseshoes, I've created one for an Emerald Wedding Anniversary gift on a green background with gold detailing, very effective it looked too, and a red/white/blue themed shoe for Father's Day. In the Jubilee year and with the Olympics fast approaching - and the torch having just passed through our area, it seemed very apt. Pix of both will be posted on the gallery page in due course.
The Royal Highland Show is fast approaching and I'll be there, taking pix and generally getting a feel for all that's new within the equine and farming world. I've just finished an interview with a saddler who will be the fourth generation within her family to take up the reins, so to speak. I'm arranging another interview for this coming week and I'm part way through my next Home Farmer submission. So it's another busy week.
