A new book to look out for.

Posted on 25th October, 2012

It seems ages since I posted on here but it's probably not that long, just so much has been happening lately both on the work and home front. We've had two happy events; a wedding and a birth, both went very well and I now have an extended family.

Work wise I'm focusing on my next book, a second Appleby one, due out I hope in time for next year's Appleby Fair. Fingers crossed it does as well as the first book.

Then I've got hunting articles for the Countryman's Weekly and my usual slot in Home Farmer which will cover topics including the Fell pony, Bach flower remedies and a real favourite of mine canal and Romany folk art. There's the next issue of Farming North that will be out soon with my regular column and a couple of news items as well, so it's been pretty full on recently. Which will bring us right up to Christmas, I can hardly believe it's just around the corner.

Ruth Tott at Home Farmer has asked for my hopes for 2013 for their January issue as well so it's official, we are heading towards festivities and the end of the year.
