It's almost Christmas and the end of the year is almost upon us. I'm looking forward to 2013 and have been working on the front cover of my new book 'Absolutely Appleby' this month, with the team from Old Pond publishing. We've got the picture order sorted and the photograph captions done too, can't wait to see the rest of it start to come together. Publication date is the start of the 2013 Fair at the beginning of June and I'm hoping to be there signing books, fingers crossed. If you've never been it's well worth a look, even for none horsy folk, it's a true countryside spectacle and don't believe any of the negative things you've been told about it. It's colourful, traditional and a wonderful spectacle to behold. Let's hope for good weather.
