May Fayre date.

Posted on 4th March, 2013

Well it's another busy week. I've just booked a table at The Aberlour Whisky Festival May Fayre taking place on 4th May in the Church of Scotland in Aberlour Square. I'll be selling signed copies of all my Scottish titles along with pictures and my painted horseshoes; should be good so if you can come along please do it'll be lovely to meet as many people as possible and there should be all manner of stalls and talented people there.

Last week another of my hunting series of articles appeared in the Countryman's Weekly. Focusing on having the best horse you can have under you on which to hunt I dedicated it to my all time best hunter Rufus - and had my parents in tears as they read it. Quite a reaction I can tell you:)

My painted folk art; horseshoes, plates, flat irons etc are featured in this month's Home Farmer magazine along with a quick fire look at canal and Romany folk art. If you'd like to have a go at this art form for yourself it's a good place to start.

I've spent the afternoon photographing cheese for a forthcoming article; I ate more than I should, but it's all in a good cause.

And it's only Tuesday - what will the rest of the week yield I wonder?
