Highland cattle in the US and ragwort wherever you are.

It's good to see that Home Farmer magazine have re-used my ragwort article that I wrote for them some time back. You can re-read it on their webpage; it's timely as this is the time of the year that you see the yellow weed most. Beware it's really as bad as ever, each year horses all over the UK die as a result of ingesting it. Liver failure is a very, very nasty way to go, you wouldn't wish it on any horse, so pull out (using gloves) spray or burn ragowrt if you have it and take extra care when buying hay in for winter use.

I had an unexpected email this morning from the American Highland Cattle Society, it seems they want to order copies of my book 'Spirit of Highland Cattle', their members must have good taste in cattle and books. If you want to see more or order it yourself then log on to my publishers website www.halsgrove.com and look it up. Thankyou all :)
