The vet made my day today when he said my article on grass sickness, in this week's Farming North, was 'very good' - praise indeed. Thanks Bob. I hope it helps to spread the message about this dreadful disease and goes some way to helping people; a cure can't come soon enough.
Speaking of horses I'm preparing pictures for an article on Scotland's only heavy horse, the Clydesdale, they are really super looking horses.
I'm sad that my friend Su at the Countryman's Weekly is leaving, she's been brilliant and a pleasure to work with, whoever gets her next will be very lucky. I wish her all best and look forward to hearing how she gets on.
