Competition time.

Posted on 5th March, 2012

The entries for the Peterhead nature photography competition were dropped off yesterday - some fantastic pictures - I'm going to have fun judging them all, better not divulge my favourites just yet, that would spoil the results to be revealed on the night. A big thank you to Peter Lewis and the camera club, it's a pleasure and an honour to be asked to do this.

I've just tackled a difficult subject for June's issue of Home Farmer magazine; that of worming your animals. Not generally for polite conversation this is one that needs careful thought by all of us who keep animals.

Next task is to take a look through the pictures I'm hoping to use in my talk for the Fell Pony Society on April 22nd.

We had a good day out last week at the Spring Show at Thainstone; took some good photos of HRH The Princess Royal as she met people. I can feel the beginnings of an article taking shape already!
