For several years I've been interested in handpainting horseshoes and other metal pieces, including kitchen scales, shoe lasts, window weights and flat irons - visiting Appleby Horse Fair honed this interest and subsequent pieces I've created.
Over the years I've sold several of these handpainted items and had really nice comments made. Recently a collegue has encouraged me to paint a few more and to start offering them for sale on a wider scale. To that end I've just created a page on this website showing my work, in particular horseshoes, and offering them for sale. There's also a horseshoe gallery in creation to which I'll add more in the future. I hope you enjoy these colourful and vibrant pieces of art.
